Application:

Fast and efficient creation of anatomical occlusal surfaces in wax, ceramics or composite

Mode of application:

Choose shape and check width of teeth. Prepare first wax layer as usual (wax pot). Fill silicone shape rapidly with modelling wax. Allow wax to thicken. While the wax is still soft place the shape onto the plaster die and position correctly, if necessary attach with wax. Check antagonist bite in articulator. After wax is hard gently remove the silicone coping. Complete the anatomical shape of the tooth and modify the occlusal surface as needed. Proceed in a similar way when working with ceramics or composites. Isolate the silicone coping with Kera-Sep spray (DFSDiamon) prior to filling with ceramic mass. This will allow you to easily remove the coping from the ceramic mass. In case of composites we recommend using light-curing composites as these can be cured easily with the transparent silicone copings. No isolation needed in this case.
